Placement by Readiness
Students are placed based on readiness and skill level rather than strictly by age or grade. Multi-age classes allow students to work at the level that best supports their growth while benefiting from collaboration, peer modeling, and direct instruction.
A Structured, Classically-Inspired Approach
Our curriculum follows established classical programs with a clear sequence and long-term plan. Instruction is intentionally structured so students steadily build knowledge and skills over time. This approach ensures continuity, avoids gaps, and prepares students for the demands of high school and beyond.
Mathematics
We use Rod & Staff, a mastery-based program that builds skills in a clear, sequential order. Students develop strong computational fluency alongside careful reasoning and problem-solving. Each concept builds on the last, allowing students to progress with confidence.
Writing
We use Writing & Rhetoric by Classical Academic Press. This program is based on the classical "progymnasmata", a sequence of exercises that develop strong thinking and writing skills. Students learn to narrate, summarize, imitate, and ultimately express their ideas with clarity and structure.
Purposeful Progression
Students are not simply completing assignments—they are progressing through a coherent course of study designed to strengthen thinking, communication, and academic readiness.
Our academic program is built on curriculum from faith-based publishers that approach subjects through a Biblical worldview. This includes using a Biblically historical perspective and timeline, helping students understand history, science, and literature in the context of God’s truth and His unfolding plan for humanity.
