We use the Rod & Staff math series. We chose this program because it's how math "used to be" taught. It is thorough and ensures mastery of each concept before moving on. We partner with parents to assess student placement based on their current math level and experience. Math is a daily subject and should be prioritized during at-home learning days.
The Shurley English curriculum has assembled a unique combination of features and strategies to provide for student success in grammar, writing, and reading. These features are logically, sequentially, and systematically woven into the curriculum to provide a solid foundation for lifetime literacy. Students also learn language arts through jingles that incorporate rhythm, rhyme, movement, and fun.
