Purposeful Learning

Blending Classroom and At-Home Learning

Our Hybrid Program blends two days of structured, in-person instruction with parent-led learning at home.

Students receive strong, focused teaching from experienced educators two days per week, while parents take an active role in guiding their child through lessons the rest of the week. This is a true hybrid school model built on responsibility, consistency, and shared commitment, not a partial replacement for full-time schooling.

Parent involvement is essential. We provide the foundation in core subjects, but daily follow-through at home is what helps students master skills, build strong habits, and grow in virtues like hard work, collaboration, and respect. It is full-time learning carried out in a hybrid structure.

Before enrollment, each student completes an academic assessment so we can place them according to readiness rather than age. We also meet with each family to ensure that our program and expectations are a good fit for everyone. We check student progress quarterly so parents and teachers can work together to strengthen areas of need.

For families ready to invest time, energy, and care into their child’s education, this program creates a meaningful partnership—one where students are supported, challenged, and prepared for the years ahead.

Cycle of Responsibility

We value parents as partners!

Helpful questions when considering a hybrid school format are:

  • Are you looking for an academic partnership to provide guidance, accountability, and social interaction for your student?
  • Do you have the time to devote at least 2-3 days of the week to home education?
  • Are you willing to prioritize the set curriculum assigned by our educators?
  • Do you want a traditional classroom model with teacher-led instruction on a part-time basis?

Is this the right fit for your child?  Students who work well in a hybrid format:

  • Thrive in an environment with a small student-teacher ratio.
  • Are able to listen attentively and are eager to learn.
  • Understand and follow traditional classroom etiquette (sitting at a desk, raising their hand to speak, etc.).
  • Receive instruction and guidance well from teachers and parents.

Benefits of our our hybrid program go beyond just a two-day classroom:

  • Parents receive personalized guidance, coaching, and feedback to aid them in successfully and confidently teaching their student at home.
  • The small student-teacher ratio allows students to work closely and engage with their teacher, getting support in real time as needed.
  • Students gain confidence by being met where they are academically, being challenged to grow in an attainable manner.
  • Our mixed age groups and small setting cultivate a variety of social skills, including teamwork, problem solving, and collaboration.

2025-2026 Curriculum

Our academic program is built on curriculum from faith-based publishers that approach subjects through a Biblical worldview. This includes using a Biblically historical perspective and timeline, helping students understand history, science, and literature in the context of God’s truth and His unfolding plan for humanity.
